i feel like weeping...

I was woken up by a call from him just now at 1.46am... He was using a common friend's hp to call... He said that the friend only got 2 gals' nos in his hp.. so he called me.. The rest of the 2/8 gang told me he is very drunk and asked me not to answer anymore if they called back... Actually i dont mind listening more to his voice.. Chatting with him...

He sounded happy to me and i was happy to be talking to him again... Should i be glad that he still called me subconciously? it was just a stupid crush.. but i know i had not forgetten.. I feel like weeping... i need a drink..

It was a hectic week as i rushed to do my shopping and meet my friends.. First time i spent $220.42 just over 3 days for clothes (usually i spent them on cds and books.. heehee.. nerd nerd..).

I finally found my size for the This Fashion skirt at JEC This Fashion on Monday...

Then i went to Harbourfront Esprit to buy some clothes.. I tried on two skirts which i liked a lot but one of them dont have my size again.. So i just bought one but this one is the most expensive skirt i ever bought (see pic).. Costed $125.92 after i used my friend's card for discount.. I am sooo going to eat grass this month liao.. Haha.. kidding lah.. lucky still got saving from the aws... Hengz hengz..

I still want to buy that other skirt that costed about $79.90.. Guess must wait after i got my angbao money liao...

Busy Slowcoach

My training officer had quitted and next Thursday is his last day at work.. haiz.. My recruitment officer and I will be taking care of the training matters now cos my boss seemed to have no intention to find a new person..

Wau lao, training stuff got a lot to take care loh.. stressed stressed stressed.. Guess I wont be blogging so often liao.. I am so slow in picking up new stuff..

Shopping Sunday

Met Jane to go to a hairdresser's place to do haircut cos now most salons had increased prices due to CNY. I was on my way to Jane's place when i saw a cute Caucasian on the bus.. He looked so cute cos he seemed to be at a loss of where he is at.. He was looking left and right and searching for the map to take a look.. I wonder one day when i am a tourist in some countries, will i be the same like him, looking so lost and adorable.. Anyway, from his attire, i figure he is probably thinking of going to Bt Timah hill for a trek (i may be wrong).. if he is, then he is definitely on the wrong bus.. Anyway, he alighted at the bus-stop opposite Railway mall when he realised he is lost.. Hmm.. at least my eyes got satisfied today.. heehee..

Jane's sis, Janet brought me to their place from the bus-stop cos i wasnt sure how to go to their new flat.. Their new place is quite nice, stylish type loh.. hahaha.. I was surprised when i saw Jane.. Forgot she said she permed her hair and it was the first time i saw her since.. Very nice.. sexy babe! Her bf drove her mom, her and me to the hairdresser.. I cut and highlighted my hair for only $30 loh.. very cheap.. heehee.. But i really pity the hairdresser cos i know my hair super hard to have colour.. haha..

After that, Jane's mom treated me to wanton noodles.. heehee.. And rojak too.. yes yes, i am a greedy pig.. I watched "The Wig" with Jane at her place.. The movie was so confusing, i cant really understand till the very end.. hmmm.. Then went shopping with Jane's mom and Jane at Kranji's This Fashion... So many ppl there.. Anyway, i managed to buy 2 tops and 2 skirts.. I hate myself for being so fat that i cannot squeeze into a small size.. cos i like a skirt but there is only s size left... Guess i need to go to other This fashion to hunt it down liao.. Ok, that's all for boring Sunday.. Tomorrow is bluezz Monday again...

Annual Celebration

I had to drag my sorry ass back to work on Friday even though i was sick.. My boss is very particular about the no. of mc we took.. yes, she is a workaholic and i blamed my sickness on her since she never rest at home when she is sick..

There was an annual celebration on Friday where all the staff can eat a good meal (Bleah!). My colleagues came early for the breakfast while i am in charge of the dinner part with my officer..

Sore throat hurting but i still eat the oily stuff during lunch.. stupid me.. but but but the company is not giving any angbaos to staff this year mah.. the buffet is my angbao liao, so must eat.. Anyway, i had second round during dinner, with the same food.. hahaha.. at least can claim OT for staying back late..

Staying home today, rest and rest and rest...

Period and Being Sick

Compared to other gals, i had always like the fact that i dont suffer from any tummy pain, etc during my period.. In fact, i got more bowel movement and can run better, both of which are good things for me..

However, one thing i hate is that my immune system always go to rest during my period, making me prone to fall sick.. And this is why i am having a MC today.. Tata..

Old Habits Die Hard

This pic reminds me of a scene i saw before.. A grandfather was holding onto two little gals, wanting to bring them to the gents to 小便. Dont know why he is walking to and fro outside the toilet.. Maybe he want to wait for less guys in the gents, lest his granddaughters got corrupted?

I was tempted to help him bring the two gals to the Ladies.. But then i was not in the parenthood mood, definitely not wanting to be someone's mother.. Especially if the kids are not mine.. What if they peed on me?
What if they fall and cry? I decided to spare myself from the agony by not being a kaypo..

This is also why i swear that if i ever had a boy (not likely unless i very suay and get pregnant from ONS..), i must always get my husband to bring my boy to the Gents to "xu xu".. so that he wont get corrupted by going to the Ladies.. I always feel that it is very wrong for one to go to the opposite gender's toilet at a young age.. what if habits cant be changed and the person turned into a peeking tom.. Okay, i'm thinking too much... I am not even going to be married.. :p

就这样，我哭醒了。好累的一场梦啊… 听说如果把梦说出来, 它就不会成真… 不知是真是假... 我一方面希望它成真, 因为我终于找到我爱的人... 可是又不希望梦成真, 因为失去最爱的人是一件很痛苦的事。我真是一个矛盾的人。

我想这也反映了我在现实中对爱的看法。既想要又害怕失去。唉……

A Lazy & Hot Sunday Afternoon

Surprisingly, i didnt stay at home to sleep cos i was having the ice cream craving again.. Hopefully this will not be a weekly thing..

Anyway, i took a ride from mom, who was taking a cab to Bugis to meet my aunt.. My aunt lived at the block near the Guanyin Temple, which also means she is super near to OG, Bugis Village, Bugis Junction, Library, etc etc.. I envy her.. so nice to paradise.. want to go Geylang eat supper also near.. i is feeling sianz liao..

Back to how i spent my afternoon.. I decided to walk around Bugis since i am already there.. I saw this board showing the fortunes of the 12 zodiacs for Year of Dog..

Wau.. see how impt the board is.. so many ppl saluting it.. haha.. No lah, i am being lame.. They are just shielding their eyes from the sun so as to be able to read the board.. I also did it..

Went to Bugis village after that and was sweating like a pig liao.. i smelled horrible.. Yucks.. I saw this tiny set of mahjong that costed 60 plus.. So nice but so exp.. I did i can only buy when i managed to save some money... Then i went to Bugis Junction and walk for a hour or so... Decided to go to Cold Storage to get a bottle of mineral water before leaving but ended up getting a lot more..


Got this organic milk chocolate, organic biscuits and ladyfingers for future tiramisu making (now, where is that recipe.. hmmm) and a bottle of water, all for $17 plus.. Dot dot dot...


Also got this 潮州腊饼 for mom but ended up she dont like to eat it.. so going to go into my stomach liao..


I also bought this for $10 at one of the pushcarts on level 1.. it was the last one.. So cute, right? The bottle can be a piggybank when the puddings are finished off..

After that, i went to Raffles City, where i saw some stage performances by performers from China.. And i discovered many nice shops there.. One of them is Das Erzgebirge-Haus (#03-27).. It sell handmade wooden scenes which came from the storybook or bible ot just some wooden characters.. they are all so wonderful and beautiful but once again.. yes you guess it.. very expensive for my pockets... the cheapest seemed to be $14.90 and it is only like 5cm tall..

I saw this very nice glass ornament, which has a wind wheel (some sort) or something in the glass ball.. i like this green one alot and it is sooo damn cheap loh.. Only $240 loh.. Bloody hell.. Anyone want to buy it for me? Heehee..

I was so tired after this and was going to NOT eat ice cream.. but i decided to persist on since it was my reason for going out.. Once again, there was no more seats when i reached there so must eat while walking loh.. I choose Chunky Monkey and Berry Berry Extraordinary (cant find the pic for this one..) for the flavours..

No Rain!!!

Yea!!! No rain on Friday the Thirteen =p this is a miracle.. Finally i can feel some warmth on my poor poor body..

I had always said that i prefer sweating to shivering... But i had forced myself to bath with cold water for 1 min every nite.. I need to get used to simple life.. Water heater is not simple life...

It had and has been raining everyday.. My clothes are never going to dry... Disappointing especially when it's a public holiday and you just want to get out of the house.. Anyway, it stopped for a while at 3 plus and i rushed out quickly..

I went to Suntec cos i had the urge to taste Ben & Jerry's ice cream (must be due to reading Ah 9 and Natsu's posts) and i am not in the mind of viewing caged animals in rainy seasons..

The shop is quite small and not much space for me to sit.. I was disappointed at the service but i excused it off as they are really busy.. I ordered a regular cup ($6.50), which allowed me to choose 2 flavors and i chose these..

Meeting with Huizhen and Xin Yuan (Wed)

Meet these two darlings at West Mall for dinner and a chat at 7pm.. Since my company is so near, i was there at 5 plus, thus i decided to do some shopping... I finally went to buy my bras alone at Ero Lingerie, cos i used to buy with my mom (Yes i am a mommy's gal).. Anyway, the things there are quite exp so i only bought a few items.. I paiseh to show you what i bought.. heehee.. I got a free pouch/ bag/ whatever you will call it with my purchase..

Then i went to TS and bought a "Kungfu Mahjong 2" vcd and a "Innocent steps" Dvd..



The dvd is really well protected cos the staff actually had to remove 4 sensors from the case.. so kuang zhang.. Anyway, i am still searching for the "Kungfu Mahjong" vcd that i had bought months ago.. Had not watched it yet.. sad sad..

I managed to not buy anything after that and just browse around in Populars (i dont know why i can spend hours in bookstores).. We went to BK to eat our dinner (Mos Burger is full.. Bleah!) and spent around 2 hours there as we chatted about stuff.. Some of the time i will be lost in the conversation cos they are talking about their common poly friend (For your info, Huizhen is my sec sch classmate.. i actually got to know Xin Yuan through Huizhen and this is only our 2nd meeting.. hahaha..) and this will be the time i start to daydream =p

i gave my Ero Lingerie paperbag to Huizhen cos she said that the logo is actually quite similar to her church's new logo and she wanted to show other staff the paperbag.. After dinner, we walked around West Mall but there's nothing much to see.. We did drop by OSIM to check out the iZap.. Huizhen even got a try at it.. We three were laughing like hell at how she's looked and i think the salesperson thought we are mad.. :p Huizhen is still thinking whether to buy or not.. As for me, i will buy but not so soon...Heehee

I just realised i spent like 300 hundred bucks in 3 days.. Freaking hell.. That's like 10 jugs of beers you can buy in pubs loh..

Rainy Day Curse

Shopping at Kino.. Fantastic..

The other day i went IMM for lunch with my colleagues and i bought this, Caramel Corn at Daiso.. It is soooooo nice.. Opps, should use "was" cos i finished the whole pack that very day.. Not that i am a greedy pig but cos i was doing OT that day and feeling super hungry mah.. heehee..



Anyway, i took half day leave today cos confirm need to clear some leave by March mah so just anyhow took loh.. Decided to go to Taka to do shopping.. I shopped and shopped for 2 hours at Kinokuniya alone loh.. After that, I had my lunch at Taka Mac at 3plus..

I decided to try the 饭tastic, the new rice burger at Mac.. I chose Chicken cos i cant eat beef (Actually, i can eat cos i am not very religious but my mom wont be happy.. heehee :p). Anyway, i just have the burger and a drink cos i was not very hungry...



My verdict:
Overall, it is okay.. The rice is mixed with mushrooms and some spices.. What i dont like is that there is this taste of mushroom lingering in your mouth after you finished... so if you are not a great fan of mushroom, pls dont order the chicken one... I like the chicken meat cos it is thigh meat.. so not too hard and still crunchy and juicy.. It is no wonder that i finish the chicken meat way faster than the rice (actually is cos when i bite onto one side, the rest came with it.. so i just went on and finish it.. heehee). You can probably guess the fate of the remaining burger, with only the mushroom rice and red cabbage.. Yeah, i ate a bit and throw to one side liao.. I think maybe i will try the beef one on another day.. Maybe it will be better..

Did anyone notice the stupid outfits the Mac staff had to wear? Earlier, they wore this chinese robes, that looked more like bathroom robes.. Now, they upgraded liao, changed to those traffic police or those litterbugs cos they are wearing those jackets thingy.. Dont know how to describe, you go look at it yourself lah... Anyway, here are the gains for today..

I had been dying to buy these latest releases but always no time to come Kino to buy.. I can save 50 cents per book if i buy at Kino cos i got the membership card.. heehee..

2. Career Guide 2005


I dont know why i bought this.. Guess i just want to show Karen ah gal, that we are very underpaid cos the average gross pay for our batch (no experience) is around $1595... Wau liao.. i also want that kind of money... Anyway, there are some useful info cos i am still thinking whether i want to study in the near future or not.. :p

I bought the Bead Style cos I am thinking of learning to make some jewellery.. Of cos before i can actually do it, i must go and buy all the stuff first.. Christine dear, next time you want to go and buy, pls ask me along, ok? Believe when i said that i bought the National Geographic magazine for the purpose of looking at the pics.. heehee...

The Chronicles of Narnia FINALLY

Finally get to watch "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" today on New Year... Overall, it is a good show, with battle scenes to capture your full attention.. What i really notice is about it is that it is a show on love, on family.. You have the regular family members, the bossy elder brother, the think-i-know-it-all big sister, the rebellious younger brother and the youngest sister whose words is always not believed cos they think she is a dreamer...

I will also like to comment that the parents nowaday really have no common sense... Why are you even bringing your young kids to see this movie.. I know it is by Disney but this is nothing like Chicken Little, Finding Nemo, okay? This is about war, pain and blood.. No wonder your kids will fool around and cry.. They dont even understand the movie (frankly, i dont too but i got common sense not to kick up a fuss).. I did not spend $9.50 to face this stupid disturbance.. Please, choose the movie wisely and use your brains next time round.. Recommended "Cars" for the next family outing, which will be in a long while, okay?
